Is our data backed up in case of an emergency?

Every minute piece of information on Museums Sites is backed up in real time to many different locations.

  • The Museums Sites server runs on a RAID 5 disk array, with redundant disk space and hot spare replacement disk.
  • The data is mirrored in real time to a second, identical server, located in a different co-location facility.
  • The data is also backed-up to three separate on and off-site facilities: an external, local hard disk, Crash Plan (cloud) and the Keepthinking's office.
  • If you have a Dropbox account, we will back up the data there too.

You are more than safe.
