Optimise for search engines
Some search engines rely on content from your website as well as what's called "meta-data". Meta data is information that is provided solely for the use of search engines.
You may edit your meta-data in Museums Sites, by - in Qi - selecting Preferences and then looking out for these settings:
- Meta data: Author. This is typically the name of your organisation.
- Meta data: Description. A short description of your main aims and activities. Less than 50 words.
- Meta data: Keywords. Up to 10 keywords, comma separated, describing what you do.
