What is Media and what is the Media Library?
Museums Sites defines as Media all types of digital files, that can be associated with content records. Media files are divided into three categories:
- Images
- Files
- Multimedia (audio/video)
Media assets may be uploaded directly into the Media Library, which is accessed using the Media tab. Or they may be uploaded directly in context, in a record that is configured to accept files of the selected type/category.
